Christmas Eve 2012

It's Christmas eve and the feeling is a lot different than years past.
The Boys are teenagers and not as good as they were on previous years, not that they are bad or anything, but it's you know, different.

Big dinner tonight BBQ NY strips, mashed potatoes, green beans, and garlic soup.
I have never made garlic soup and it was sooooooo good. It reminds me of a bowl I had in the late 80's in a restaurant in Miami called El Cid.

So everyone off early to bed tonight because our ole red suited friend will be stopping by and as we all know.
NO PEEKING

Happy Holidays

Dogs, Laccross and Cars

Here is our extra family car Sam has been driving for a while and that Ted has been learning to drive in.
Reliable.
Good on gas.
Paid for.

This weekends lacrosse tournament is in west Deefrield Beach and it is a 7 on 7 tourny.
The field is about half the size and it is fast paced and high scoring.
A lot of your regular basics for lacrosse is thrown by the wayside, they are so different that Ted the long stick defender went down the field and scored!
That drew a large cheer from the crowd.

Here is a very red eyed (I tried to delete it) picture of Trixie and Charlie. Trixie keeps ALL OF US people and pets on our toes. She is a real scamp but cute as they come.

Here is another view of our extra family car after it battled a SUV. Sam who was not hurt in the least rear-ended a red SUV with a rack on top on Cove Road in front of Murry Middle school.
After pulling off the road the other car calmly drove away.
Car is totaled and we just put fresh tires and brakes last month.
Good times bad times, you know we had our share.

Tough on Sam because he has a split schedule and does not go to school till 11:30am and then has IRSC classes at night.
Can anyone yell TAXI.

Chauffeur

It's been a long, long time from my last update and I am very sorry for this.
Lets not dwell on the past but look to the future. The future is now because 7 of these young men are seniors this year and they will be moving on this summer.
Good times with this years crew, they are getting faster and faster as the years have progressed. 8th year....wow.

Teams were.....

Team Top Dog
Team Hot Rod
Team Triple Delight
Team Noise Makers
Team Santa

4 hours
11 runners, 1 driver and 1 director
8 pizzas
2 cases soda, 1 case water and lots-o-Gatorade
1840 calenders delivered onto all Rocky Point doorsteps.

Thank You boys we had a ton of laughs and everyone went home with goodies, cash and full belly.
Couldn't ask for better weather either.

Smilin'
